Responsible Ownership of Marfa Pets

ROMP is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works to provide community education programs and low-cost spay/neuter options.  Our base of operations is in Marfa, TX. Our mission is to create an atmosphere in the Big Bend region that encourages responsible pet ownership and promotes the health and welfare of pets and their owners.

"Stop Pet Overpopulation Today" (SPOT), our targeted low-income spay/neuter program, offers affordable and subsidized surgery provided by local area veterinary clinics to pets of qualified residents in Presidio, Jeff Davis, Brewster and Culberson Counties.

"ROMP in the Classroom" brings humane education to Marfa schools.

"Marfa Community Cats" reduces the feral cat populations in Marfa through a humane trap, neuter, return (TNR) program.

ROMP exists through generous donations and support of the community. Please donate today. Your donations are tax-deductible.
